Frequently Asked Questions

Your home is cleaned by a regularly assigned crew of three on a regularly assigned day each time. You won't have a different crew unless informed. You can expect the same day with each rotation and approximately the same time each cleaning.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will make every effort to meet your needs, but a specific time is hard to set. You may request a morning or afternoon time slot. Please allow a one-hour window of time to show up. The cleaning crew will stay at the home until the job is completed.

In order to give you the best value for your money and do an efficient job, we ask that you straighten up the night before. All clothes, papers, and toys should be picked up. The crew does not wash laundry or dishes. You can also have a day of organizing for $100.00 + tax per hour if needed.

Most of our customers are not. For security, the company controls all keys every day, and only the crew assigned to your house has access to the key. Keys are coded individually and kept at the office. Otherwise, keys must be left out for us on the cleaning day. If you forget to leave a key, a $25 trip charge can be billed. You can also give the Westside Maids office a garage or door code for the team to enter and exit, or remotely let the team into your home.

If your scheduled house cleaning falls on a holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service or skip that particular cleaning day and clean your house on the next scheduled date.

You must give a 24-hour notice for changes. Please advise us as soon as possible so unnecessary trips won't occur. Messages can be left on the voicemail 24 hours a day (281-855-9212). There will be a $25 trip charge if the office is not contacted.

Payment should be made on the day of each cleaning visit. If you prefer to pay by check, please make it payable to Westside Maids and include sales tax. If you forget to leave a check, please mail to 3211 Greenhouse Rd. Ste. 113, Houston, TX 77084. The office also takes all forms of credit cards, and we will charge you the day after service.

Please let us know if you have pets. It would be best to put your animals away to avoid any mishaps.

Please make us aware of any special cleaning requirements or items we should not attempt to clean, such as antiques, collectables, items passed down in the family that are not replaceable, costly rugs, furniture, marble, flooring, etc.
